PITCHING AND DISMANTLING
Traditional pitching and dismantling with poles. Follow the instructions stitched into the product’s cover.
We recommend that 2 people pitch the tent.
SUN PROTECTION
The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.
Important: be careful, a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.
VENTILATION
Three sides have an opening for better air flow. Each of the openings has a mosquito net to prevent insects from getting inside.
WIND RESISTANCE
We test all our living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our living room to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this living room remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.
WATERPROOFING
We test our living rooms to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 4 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real conditions by our teams. This living room is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Poles - All our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.

Our camping living rooms have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently.
